marcuShai Marcu  M.D., attended the Faculty For Agriculture sciences , The Hebrew University, as an undergraduate, on the Animal Sciences Department during 1990-1992.   With robust interest in human physiology and behavior, he continued to medical school, and, earned his M.D. from the Ben-Gurion University School of Medicine in 2000.  Dr. Marcu completed a residency in General Pediatrics at the Ben-Gurion University, Soroka Medical Center (2000-2005).  He later served as Head of medical staff at a Clinical Center & Home for the mentally challenged Bedouin Moslem community in Israel, as well as a primary pediatrician.  Dr. Marcu pursued his interest in neurosciences and was a clinical & research fellow of Sleep Medicine at the Toronto Western Hospital, University Of Toronto, in the Neuropsychiatric Program (2006-2008). Thereafter, completed a full Pediatric Neurology and Child Development sub-specialty (2008-2011)

Dr. Marcu founded and was head of a pioneering pediatric neuro-developmental sleep clinic at the institute for child development, Sheba Medical Center.

 Today, Dr. Marcu has a private clinic for pediatric neurology & child development consultations, also serves as consultant to HMOs in Israel.  Dr. Marcu focuses his medical interest on computational based solution and applications for neurological disorders and healthy living way of life, giving his patients a comprehensive clinical view for each and everyone.
